Conquer the insanity of Jonker Street with the ultimate team-building experience.

A UNESCO World Heritage site, the stage of your treasure hunt is steeped in culture and local beauty. Where better to engage in some friendly rivalry that pits you against other teams?

You and your team battle for top spot as chief treasure hunters by emerging victorious in each of the following challenges.

Don’t forget to head back later to experience the countless food, antique, handicraft and clothes stalls during the famed night market.

2. Dragon-boat Racing

Cruise down the historic Melaka River on a mighty vessel, its traditional prows and sterns hand-carved to resemble an ancient dragon. Vividly coloured and powered by paddle, this sport was brought to Melaka by the Straits Chinese who settled here. This activity is led by a trained coordinator from the Melaka Dragon Boat Association.

3. Casa’s Iron Chef Challenge Cooking Competition

Get ready to be put to the test! With a 1 hour 45 minute time limit, Casa del Rio’s Iron Chef Challenge is designed to test you both physically and mentally. Given a special ingredient to base your meal around, teams will cook against each other and the clock to produce a delicious and visually interesting three course meal.

4. Home Cooking Class

Bring home a unique and everlasting souvenir. The taste of Asia. With Chef Yuz’s guidance, learn ancient home recipes passed down for generations, creating an authentic flavour. A blend of Cantonese and Malay influences gave rise to Melaka’s signature cuisine, and with our help, you can share its legacy with friends and family alike.
